Quality Installation Assessment

This assessment is designed to identify your HVAC technician’s knowledge and experience as it relates to the proper installation of residential HVAC air systems. The main areas assessed are:

• Refrigerant Charging
• Equipment Sizing
• Air Side Measurement
• Duct Sealing

Passing this assessment (by answering at least 75% of the questions correctly) will qualify the contractor to be a participant in the 2007 Xcel Energy Central AC and Air Source Heat Pump Rebate programs.

The assessment consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.
